Broad Town Church of England Primary School

On Tuesday afternoons, groups of Class 3 have the opportunity to work in the forest school area. Some of the things we do in outdoor learning include:

Working on and managing our group piece of land

Making maps of our land and recording in our booklets

Making signs

Shelter making

Cooking on the fire (jacket potaoes)

Playing outdoor games

Making clay animals

The reasons we like outdoor learning are listed below:

Our group works together on building our den

I enjoy the freedom of the woods

I enjoy buiding and looking for things in the woods to help me.

We have to work together to solve problems

Working in the forest is FUN and I enjoy it.
