Broad Town Church of England Primary School

We had great fun learning all about the Stone Age and shared everything that we had learnt with our parents at our class assembly. We shared all the information through acting out the story of Stone Age Boy, which was our main text through the topic. We had great fun acting out the parts and sharing the groovy songs that we had learnt. Here are some of our photos. 

We learnt all about healthy living when the people from Warburton's came into visit us. We learnt about the process of making bread, how we can have a healthy and balanced diet and what baker's hands are. We got to dress up like proper bakers and made our own sandwiches thinking about what we had learnt about healthy eating. Here we are in our outfits.

In term 1, we had a story teller come in and tell us all about the stone age. He explained to us how they hunted the amazing mammouth, and how resourcesful the were with it. We had a great fun acting like the cave people. Here are some of the photos.
