Wrap Around Care
By September 2026, the DfE require all working parents/carers of primary school aged children to be able to access wraparound childcare 8am-6pm, term time only. This could be on the school site or made available elsewhere, likewise, it could be run by the school or delivered by another provider. The aim is to help parents access more childcare and work the hours they want to. This is different from out-of-school activities, or school clubs, which are less frequent and can be a one-off activity. Providers will set the fees, and those parent/carers eligible for Tax-Free Childcare or Universal Credit Childcare will be able to use this support to help pay for wraparound childcare.
Wrap around- Broad Hinton School
Broad Hinton School offers wrap around care for children at Broad Hinton School and Broad Town School. If you would like your child to attend breakfast club then you would need to drop your child off at Broad Hinton School. They will then be transported by a member of staff from Broad Hinton School to Broad Town School in time for the start of our school day.
If you would like your child to attend after school club at Broad Hinton School, a member of staff from our school will put them safely in the transport, where they will then be transported to Broad Hinton School by a member of Broad Hinton staff. Parents will then collect their child from Broad Hinton School. Please see flyer:
